Rania Lawendy has a Masters in Educational Leadership. She is a second generation Canadian Muslim activist married with four children. She is currently serving on our National Executive Council as the Director of MAC Youth Junior. She is one of the founders of the Kitchener Masjid, Islamic Centre of Waterloo, Masjid Aisha, Al-Huda Weekend School and Maple Grove School. Currently, she is the principal of MAC Maple Grove School as well as the Muslim Chaplain at the University of Waterloo. She is an international public speaker, speaking on a range of topics including education, youth and women issues. Recently, she was awarded the Inspiring Leadership Award presented by the Honourable Bardish Chagger, MP.
