Welcome to the #CanadaWeWant Knowledge Exchange! This 3-day event will share research, findings, and promising practices from the Canadian youth sector. This year’s knowledge exchange is centred on the #CanadaWeWant four guiding lenses: Truth Leading to Reconciliation, Rural Remote and Northern Communities, Children’s Rights, and Structural Racism.  Please explore the program below and register for breakout session to build your own personalized schedule.
Bienvenue à l’Échange de connaissances #leCanadaquenoussouhaitons ! Cet événement de 3 jours permettra de partager les recherches, les résultats et les pratiques prometteuses du secteur de la jeunesse canadienne. Cette année, l’échange de connaissances est centré sur les quatre principes directeurs de #leCanadaquenoussouhaitons : la vérité menant à la réconciliation, les communautés rurales éloignées et nordiques, les droits de l’enfant et le racisme structurel. This session will present research findings from the following studies commissioned by MAC on challenges facing Muslim youth (ages 13-32) across Canada:
- "Examining Primary Challenges for Muslim Youth in Canada: Crisis of Identity and its Detrimental Outcomes" (Nakita Valerio, 2020)
- "Examining Pathways of Resilience for Muslim Youth in Canada: Youth-Driven Solutions and Belonging in Canadian Muslim Communities" (Nakita Valerio, 2020)

This research will be beneficial to organizations aiming to be more inclusive of Muslim youth. Cette séance présentera les résultats des études suivantes, commandées par la MAC, sur les défis auxquels sont confrontés les jeunes musulman(e)s (13-32 ans) au Canada :
