My name is Donna Banach and I am the Northern Youth Action for Prevention (YAP) Coordinator for the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute. The YAP Program is a youth-focused FASD prevention program that works to increase the knowledge that youth have regarding alcohol-related harms. Using a philosophy of youth engagement and trauma-informed approaches as the basis of the program; youth are supported to create positive change in their lives and in their communities. I am located in La Ronge and serve the Northern part of the province. I have been with SPI for the past two year and has been a pleasure working with Northern communities and youth!
